Saudi sergeant killed in Aden

ADEN, June 15 (YPA) – One of Saudi soldiers was killed in the vicinity of Maasheiq Palace in Aden city, southern Yemen, in mysterious circumstances, sources reported on Monday.

The sources said that Mohammed Awad al-Barqi, a sergeant in the so-called “Duty Forces 802” of the Saudi occupation forces, was killed on Friday by fire of militias affiliated with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council.

Saudi media recently reported the news of the killing of al-Barqi, while the Saudi defense ministry did not officially announce the reasons for the killing of one of its soldiers in the city of Aden.
