Dozens of Islah militants killed in STC attack in Abyan

ABYAN, June 11 (YPA) – Dozens of the Saudi-backed Islah Party militants were killed and wounded on Thursday in an attack on their sites in Yemen’s southern province of Abyan, sources said.

The sources affirmed that the UAE-supported Southern Transitional Council (STC) waged the attack on Islah sites in Shakrah, Ja’ar and al-Taraih and took over Jabal Suda sites nearby Shakra city.

The sources added that two tanks and several military vehicles were destroyed by the STC militias during the attack.

Meanwhile, Islah militants with military vehicles withdrew from camp of Qarn al-Classi and Wadi Sala in the province after being inflicted heavy casualties from the attack that carried out by the STC militias.
