SANAA, June 10 (YPA) – The Supreme Council for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation on Wednesday condemned Saudi-led coalition’s dropping of cluster bombs on al-Subaha neighborhood of Sanaa province, which injured five people of one family.
The Council said, in a statement, that “this crime is not the first, but rather is part of a series of crimes committed by the Saudi-led aggression coalition against civilians.”
The statement condemned the shameful international silence towards targeting civilians in residential neighborhoods, homes and farms without respect for civilian objects, whose protection right is guaranteed in accordance with international humanitarian law.
The Council held the aggression coalition countries responsible for the consequences of the crimes that affect civilians, calling on the United Nations to carry out its humanitarian duty and pressure the aggression countries for stopping the aggression and lifting the siege.
