Security commander loyal to Islah militia killed in ambush in Abyan

ABYAN, June 8 (YPA) – A security commander loyal to Islah party’s militias was killed on Monday by fires of the southern transitional council militiamen in Abyan province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

Salim al-Marzuqi was subjected to intense gunfire, which led to the overturning of his military pick-up vehicle.

The sources confirmed that al-Marzuqi was taken to Afiah hospital with his companions.
