Clear weather to partly cloudy expected for 24 hours

SANAA, June 8 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center predicted on Monday that the weather would be clear to partly cloudy in several Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours.

The center said in its weather forecast that the weather in the mountain highlands might be partly cloudy with the formation of the cumulative clouds accompanied by light rains on separate parts of the mountain range of the western highlands.

It added that the weather would be also hot and humid on most of the Yemeni coasts and desert areas with winds reaching its speed from 10 to 22 knots, meanwhile the atmosphere in Socotra archipelago to be partly cloudy in general, with southwesterly winds reaching 20 to 35 knots.

The center alerted citizens in the desert areas against the high temperature during the day and residents in the coastal areas from very hot and humid climates.
