Saudi channels exclusive to TV rights to football competitions from Qatar

SANAA, June 7 (YPA) – The British newspaper “The Mail of Sunday” said in a report published on Sunday that the pirate channels for the TV rights of sports competitions (Beoutq) are working with the support of the Saudi government and it is stealing the television rights of football competitions with a value of 500 million pounds.
The newspaper added that Saudi Arabia prevented “beIN Sport” channels from operating on its land, after Riyadh imposed an economic blockade on Qatar; After accusing Doha of sponsoring terrorism.
As Saudi Arabia seeks to acquire Newcastle, beIN Sport protested to the Premier League Foundation; When officials began to consider whether Saudi Arabia would be allowed to obtain a major stake in the club through a consortium made up of the Saudi Investment Fund, funded by Amanda Staffeli, and billionaires specializing in real estate the brothers Robin.
The newspaper suggested that Saudi Arabia reached a peace agreement on television rights regarding sports competitions with Qatar, but the Saudi side has not yet contacted Doha, and that major concessions will be required to secure any agreement.
According to the newspaper, “It is believed that the charged relationship between the two countries will be a major obstacle to completing the settlement. The consortium hopes that its political efforts will help achieve the Newcastle deal. ”
The newspaper touched on the beginning of the Gulf crisis, stating: “Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt decided to boycott Qatar economically and diplomatically in June 2017 due to allegations that Doha supports terrorism, a charge that the Qatari government strongly denies.”

After two months of that unprecedented crisis in the history of the Gulf Cooperation Council, anonymous channels called “BeoutQ” appeared, and they started transmitting all the events, events and sports tournaments that the Qatar “Bn Sport” channels have exclusive rights to broadcast, then expanded to broadcast their entertainment content as well.
