Ministry of Electricity in Sanaa reduces kilowatts price for govt electricity

SANAA, June (YPA) – The Ministry of Electricity and Energy in Sanaa on Saturday announced that the price of one kilowatt of government electricity will be reduced to 170 riyals and for large investors to 160 riyals.

The decision comes in light of the ministry’s strategic and continuous policy to provide electrical current service with reduced fees that take into account the conditions of citizens, according to a source in the Ministry’s operation room.

The source added that the field electric teams continue to survey and introduce the government electric service into new areas in the capital Sanaa, as part of a plan started by the Ministry in the holy month of Ramadan to restore the electricity supply to the capital in a safe, stable and regular manner.
