Sanaa governor stresses importance of enhancing efforts to develop agricultural sector

SANAA, June 1 (YPA) – Sanaa governor Abdul Baset al-Hadi stressed on Monday the importance of enhancing efforts to develop the agricultural sector in the governorate.

During his inauguration of the agricultural season in districts of Sanhan and Balad al-Raws, the governor affirmed the need for focus on agriculture and the optimal use of the agricultural lands in order to achieve the self-sufficiency.

Al-Hadi praised the efforts exerted by farmers and their keenness to grow grains, reach self-sufficiency and achieve development in accordance with directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council, especially in light of the difficult circumstances Yemen is going through.
