Military leader survived assassination attempt in Aden

ADEN, May 30 (YPA) – A prominent leader of the UAE’s “Southern Transitional” militia survived an assassination attempt on Saturday in the city of Aden, in southern Yemen.
A local source in the city stated that the so-called Commander of the First Battalion of the 12th Brigade of the Transitional Brigade, Mahmoud al-Sabaie, survived an assassination in the area of Arish, northeast of Aden.
The sources added that one of the seven companions was killed and two were wounded.
The sources confirmed that the operation to target the Seven-Leader was carried out with an explosive device, which was planted by unknown persons.
