Health minister meets with Head of MSF-Holland

SANAA, May 8 (YPA) – Minister of Public Health and Population, Mohammed Ben Hafeez, on Tuesday met in the capital  Sanaa, head of the organization Médecins Sans Frontières Holland (MSF-Holland).

The meeting discussed the possibility of resuming the mission for its work in Dhalea province, after it suspended its work in the province as a result of the security situation.

It touched upon the aspects related to the services provided by the organization in Dhalea and in Taiz city, as well as its support to Al-Sabein hospital in the capital Sana’a.

“Dhalea province needs more humanitarian and health support, especially in light of the conditions experienced by the country as a result of continued war and siege imposed by the US-backed Saudi-led coalition,” The minister said.
