Yemeni scholars call for fatwa prohibiting rapprochement with Jews

SANAA, May 21 (YPA) – Yemeni Scholars Association on Wednesday stressed the importance of marking the Quds Day, interacting with it and making it a historical station for public mobilization and continual jihadist preparation for the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Association called on scholars and preachers to pay attention to the Palestinian issue and work to thwart all plans and conspiracies of the usurping Zionist entity.

In this regard, the Association emphasized the necessity of issuing an explicit fatwa that prohibits and condemns the rapprochement with the Jews and the conclusion of deals and conferences with their cursed criminal leaders, the murderers.”

The statement stressed “the importance of strengthening the factors of brotherhood and unity between the factions and movements of resistance and transcending differences and uniting in one front against the usurping Zionist occupier.”

The Association concluded its statement by affirming “the importance and necessity of supporting the jihad and resistance movements in Palestine and Lebanon with money and men to confront the Zionist threat.”
