SANAA, May 7 (YPA) – An Army spokesman Maj. Gen. Sharaf Luqman said that a response is to be strong and painful towards targeting citizens and densely populated areas by coalition air strikes on the capital Sanaa, in a statement received by Yemen Press Agency.
In the statement, Luqman also said that “the Saudi-led coalition’s war crimes against civilians open all of an options of the Yemeni people and the army to respond in using all available and strong means for self-defense.
The spokesman explained that the army’s ballistic missile attacks towards Saudi vital and economic sites created confusion and fear case of the Saudi-led coalition leaders leading to target the Yemeni citizens.
On Monday, the coalition waged two airstrikes on the presidential office in central of the capital Sanaa, which led to killing six civilians and wounding over 90 others.
