Dozens of Islah militants captured in Abyan

ABYAN, May 19 (YPA) – Dozens of Islah Party’s militants were captured by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias in Abyan province, south of Yemen, local sources reported on Monday.

The sources said that the STC militia carried out an operation, which led to the capture of 140 Islah militants, on the outskirts of Shoqra city.

This came after the STC militia attacked on Sunday Qarn al-Classi camp, which is considered one of the most important camps of Islah in Abyan.
