Health Minister announces 2 cases of COVID-19 in capital Sanaa

SANAA, May 16 (YPA) – Minister of Public Health and Population of the National Salvation Government Dr. Taha al-Mutawakkil announced on Saturday evening about two cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the capital Sanaa.

Dr. al-Mutawakkil referred, in a press conference, that one of the two cases is a 48-year-old man, and the other is a 38-year-old woman, confirming that the two cases recovered clinically.

He said that the Ministry of Health continues, day and night, to follow up every case of suspicion, in cooperation with all the competent authorities.

During the conference, al-Mutawakkil reaffirmed the necessity of strengthening the preventive measures by citizens and following the instructions issued by the Ministry of Health at various levels.
