Sanaa discusses measures to achieve strategic stockpile of medicines 

SANAA, May 13 (YPA) – A meeting held Tuesday in Sanaa, chaired by Chairman of the Supreme Board of Drugs and Medical Appliances (SBDMA) Dr. Mohammed al-Madani, discussed practical measures to achieve a strategic stockpile of medicines.

The meeting, which included head and secretary-general of the Federation of Importers of Medicines and Medical Supplies, stressed the importance of concerted efforts to provide drug stocks for a year, especially in light of the Corona pandemic.

At the meeting, Dr. al-Madani praised the Federation’s willingness to provide a strategic stock of medicines for a year, noting to the role of drug importers in supporting the health sector in light of the continued aggression and the blockade.

He confirmed that the Board would facilitate and address any obstacles facing importers in this aspect.
