ADEN, May 9 (YPA) – Six citizens were injured on Saturday when the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council militias suppressed a protest rally in Yemen’s southern province of Aden, sources said.
At the rally, the protesters called for improvement in the situation and services in the province that collapsed since its occupation in 2015, including the return of electricity and water network.
The sources in the governorate of Aden said that the militias of the STC militias opened fire to disperse peaceful popular demonstrations calling for an improvement of basic services in the province.
