SANAA, May 9 (YPA) – Prime Minister Abdulaziz bin Habtour on Saturday stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation and partnership relations with the humanitarian work system operating in Yemen.
The move came during his meeting with Secretary General of the Supreme Council for the Administration and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation Abdul Mohsen Tawoos.
In the meeting, bin Habtour was briefed by Tawoos on the progress of the Council’s activity and the level of the cooperation with humanitarian organizations towards the humanitarian challenges facing the Yemeni people as a result of the Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition and its siege on Yemen.
Tawoos reviewed efforts made by the Council to overcome challenges and difficulties facing the humanitarian system, which is working to reduce the suffering of the Yemeni citizen during this exceptional period that the country is going through for more than five years.
