National delegation discusses with Iranian official regional developments

SANAA, May 9 (YPA) – The national negotiating delegation headed by Mohammad Abdul Salam discussed on Saturday with the Iranian Foreign Minister’s Senior Assistant for Special Political Affairs Ali-Asghar Khaji,the local and regional developments.

In a meeting, which was held via video technology and attended by Yemen’s ambassador to Tehran, Ibrahim Al-Dailami, touched on the efforts exerted to establish peace and support project presented by the UN envoy Martin Griffiths regarding the cease-fire and lifting the siege, as well as opening Sanaa International Airport to face COVID-19.

Abdul Salam affirmed the consistent position by the national delegation to stop the Saudi-led aggression coalition and lift its siege imposed on the Yemeni people .
