2 coalition soldiers die of disease similar to Corona in Lahj

LAHJ, May 4 (YPA) – At least two of Saudi-led coalition recruits died at al-Anad military base in Lahj province, southern Yemen, after they contracted symptoms similar to those seen in those infected with the Corona virus (COVID-19), military sources reported.

The two soldiers, Nasr al-Salami and Ahmed al-Makhdoomi, had mixed with other soldiers before the symptoms of infection appeared on them, and then their health condition deteriorated and they died, according to the sources.

The Health Ministry of Hadi’s Government announced Monday the registration of two new cases of COVID-19 in Hadramout, bringing the total number of infection cases to 12.
