STC’s militias loot equipment for combating diseases in Aden

ADEN, May 3 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia on Saturday stormed the Public Health Office Branch of Sirah district in Aden province, southern Yemen, and looted 12 spray equipment used for combating disease vectors, medical sources reported.

The sources added that the looting of the equipment came one day after being  received from the Health Ministry in the “Hadi’s government”.

Various epidemics and diseases have spread in Aden, after the heavy rain-caused torrents inundated in mid-April a number of residential areas and neighborhoods, and caused a number of deaths.

The STC’s militia have raided and looted in many government offices and homes of citizens and pro-Islah party military and security leaders in Aden, since their control of the city in early August, 2019.
