Report: Saudi troops inflicted heavy losses over 24 hours
SANAA, May 7 (YPA) – The Saudi army and its militias were inflicted heavy losses of lives and equipment when the Yemen army waged military operation, including missiles and artillery attacks, targeting their sites and gatherings during the past 24 hours, according to Anshar Allah Media Center statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency.
· In Najran border province:
Numbers of ballistic missiles, Bader-1, were fired toward economic targets.
An infiltration, backed by apache combing of Saudi army and its militias, was repelled in Shurfa site, killing and wounding dozens, without any progress.
A military vehicle, loaded with Saudi-backed militias, was destroyed by an explosive device in Ajasher desert, killing all its crew.
Missile and artillery shelling targeted militias’ gatherings in Ajasher desert.
· In Saudi border province of Asir:
A militias’ advance was repelled in front of Alab crossing, killing and injuring many.
a Saudi military armored vehicle was bombed with a guided missile in front of Alab.
Katyusha rockets and artillery shells were fired toward gatherings of militias in Sood hill and in front of Alab crossing.
· In Jizan border province:
A missile, Zilzal-1, and artillery shells were fired toward militias’ gatherings beyond Tewal crossing.
Missile and artillery shelling targeted Saudi-soldiers’ gatherings in the south of Khubah.
· In Taiz province:
A ballistic missile, Qahir-2M, was fired toward gatherings of invaders and militias in western Moazea district of West coast front.
The army carried out an offensive operation on militias’ site in south of West coast front, combing the area with heavy and medium weapons, killing and wounding dozens.
· In Bayda province:
Four of militias were killed and eight were injured by the fires of Army in Qaniah front.
· In Hajjah province:
Engineering unit of the army destroyed a military vehicle of militias by an explosive device in the north of Medi desert, killing its crew.
Artillery force of the army shelled gatherings of Saudi-backed militias and burned a military vehicle, killing all its crew in northern Medi desert.
