7 of PMF members killed in an ISIS attack
SANAA, May 2 (YPA) – Seven members of Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) during repelling two ISIS Takfiri attacks in the Salah ad Din Governorate, in the center of Iraq.
“The ISIS terrorist organization launched an attack on the PMF of Tigris regiment in the area of Machishafa,” said Iraqi News Agency , quoting Salah al-Din Operations Commander, Major General Mohsen Hatim, adding that “the initial outcome resulted in the death of 6 members of the Mobilization.”
For his part, the representative of Salah al-Din Muhammad Karim al-Baldawi said, “Brigade 41 in the Popular Mobilization repelled a terrorist attack on the Tal al-Dahab area in the Balad District, south of Salah al-Din Governorate, resulting in the death of one of its members.” He pointed out that the Samarra Operations Command and the Popular Mobilization surrounded the area.
The Iraqi Security Media Cell announced on Friday the killing of an Iraqi officer and the injury of a number of his family members due to a terrorist attack in Yathrib district, Salahuddin Governorate.
The Iraqi Al-Nujaba movement confirmed on Friday that America insists on the return of “terrorism” to Iraq by transferring large numbers of takfiris from Syria, noting that moving the American occupation to expiation “ISIS” in eastern Euphrates and the criminal attacks that Kirkuk is witnessing are evidence of the American scheme Malignant.
