Report: Child killed in 53+ Saudi-led airstrikes on Yemen over 24 hours
SANAA, May 7 (YPA) – A child was killed and others injured when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched more than 53 air strikes on several areas of Yemen’s provinces over the past 24 hours, according to Ansar Allah Media Center statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency on Monday.
- In Hodeidah province:
A child was killed and others were injured, members of one family, in an airstrike targeted a home in Bit-Faqih district.
Six airstrikes hit the building of the General Authority for Tahamah development in Qatia area of Maeawi’a district.
An airstrike was waged on Mango farm in Jarahi district.
Two air strikes on Jah area in the South of the coastline triangle.
- In Saada province:
A civilian was injured in one of the airstrikes which were waged on Aal-Ammar area of Safraa district.
Seven airstrikes were waged on several areas of Baqem border district.
Two airstrikes hit the road between Saada and Sanaa provinces.
An airstrike was launched on Mathab area of Safraa district.
An air raid on Shada border district.
Two airstrikes hit Dhahir district.
Two air strikes on Jahla area of Razeh district.
Meanwhile, missile and artillery shells were fired toward several areas of Baqem, Razih, and Munabeh border districts.
- In Hajjah province:
12 air strikes were waged on several areas of Haradh and Medi districts.
- In Taiz province:
Over 15 air strikes were launched on several areas of Mowazea district.
- In Marib province:
A Saudi-led coalition airstrike was waged on Mahjara area of Serwah district.
