President al-Mashat: political solution document represents way out for all parties

SANAA, April 25 (YPA) – The head of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, stressed that the political solution document presented by the Republic of Yemen represents a possible and fair way for all parties to reach a comprehensive settlement of all the files of war.
This came in a press interview conducted by Al-Thawra newspaper with President Al-Mashat, which will be published on Saturday, on the occasion of the passage of two years since the death of President Saleh Al-Samad, and Mahdi Al-Mashat assumed responsibility in chairing the Supreme Political Council.
The dialogue included details and information on many topics and files related to war and confrontation, its fate, as well as contacts, the latest developments in negotiation paths with the Saudis.
Mr. Al-Mashat said during the dialogue, that Yemen lost Saleh Al-Samad who was a great leader and one of Yemen symbols due to its characteristics that embodied the Qur’anic model.
Al-Mashat praised what was achieved at the military and political levels, what the reconciliation committees and the general amnesty achieved, and what the competent authorities accomplished in the political and administrative reform process and the construction process.
On international relations, Al-Mashat stressed that the Republic of Yemen is open in friendly relations with all countries and governments and that it wants a lasting and comprehensive peace … indicating that he sent a message to the Russian President in this regard.
