STC threatens to attack Hadi’s government delegation planning to visit Aden

ADEN, April 23 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council militias (STC) threatened Thursday to target the Hadi government delegation that was due to arrive in the southern port of Aden, local sources said.

According to the Local sources, armed militias led by the leader Abu Hammam on Thursday besieged Aden airport with various heavy and medium weapons, threatening to attack the coalition-backed government delegation to target if it arrives in the airport.

The sources said that the “STC” continues to mobilize and deploy its forces in the vicinity of Aden airport in a proactive step for the return of the Hadi government, which was scheduled to visit Aden to inspect damages caused by floods.

The sources confirmed that a government delegation headed by Maeen Abdulmalik Saeed had planned to visit Aden, to begin the steps of repairing the damages caused  by the floods, but was surprised by the armed escalation by the STC militias  at Aden airport.
