Ballistic missile fired toward coalition forces, gatherings in Taiz

TAIZ, May 6 (YPA) – Rocketry force of the Yemen army on Sunday fired a ballistic missile toward gatherings of Saudi-led coalition forces and Nephew of Farmer slain President Saleh, Brigader-General Tariq Mohammed Saleh’s militias in Taiz province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The missile, Qaher-2M, targeted the enemy in western Moazea district of West Coast front, the official added.

The missile hit its target accurately, causing heavy losses n the enemy’s ranks and military equipment, the official added.

Early, the army launched an offensive against the positions of Tariq militias backed by UAE occupation forces in south of West Coast with fire combing by heavy and medium weapons, killing and wounding dozens.

UAE-backed militias under the leadership of Tareq were targeted with large ambushes and missile bombardment in Moazea district, west of Taiz during their infiltration towards Makha junction.

The army inflicted Tareq militias heavy losses and forced those who remain to tactically withdraw.

The forces of Tariq appealed on the page of Facebook called “guards of the Republic” the peoples to go to the Makha and Aden hospitals to donate blood to wounded who injured during the infiltration

The Yemeni army forces announced the killing of 3rd battalion commander of the third battalion of Amaliqa brigade, Yasser Ahmed Saleh Daoudi, as well as leader Salah Saleh Muhammad Shubba Daoudi, during the military operations that took place on Saturday evening, near Makha junction, Where fierce military confrontations have been taking place since Saturday, between the militias-backed by UAE occupation, with the participation of Tareq forces and the Yemeni army forces in several areas of Moazea west of Taiz.
