UN envoy visits Riyadh again

SANAA, May 6 (YPA) –  UN envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffith, on Sunday arrived in the Saudi capital Riyadh after the failing of its last visit to the capital Sanaa, as part of a second regional tour aimed at reviving stalled talks between Yemen’s warring rivals.

Griffith will meet resigned Haid, The Turkish Anatolia news agency quoted sources close to the UN envoy.

Griffith was due to visit Sanaa on Saturday, but the visit failed for the second time.

Yemen’s government’s position toward peace’s negotiations remains unclear until the moment after President Saleh al-Asmad, was killed in Hodeidah on April 19  in an air raid launched by an US drone aircraft.
