Fierce explosion hits Aden

ADEN, April 19 (YPA) – A fierce explosion hit on Sunday Yemen’s southern province of Aden, according to eyewitnesses.

The witnesses explained that the explosion was heard in in Omar al-Mukhtar neighborhood of Sheikh Othman district without revealing the reasons.

Separately, political sources said that new political negotiations, which, between the Saudi-backed exiled Hadi’s government and the Southern Transitional Council (STC) backed by the UAE, would be held, after the collapse of “Riyadh Agreement” signed between the two sides in November 2019.

The STC recently demanded carrying out Riyadh agreement, in exchange for stopping military operation launched by Islah militants, under the name of Al-Fajr Al-Jadid.”
