Parliament’s speaker sends message to  UN Secretary-General over coalition’s military escalation

SANAA, May 6 (YPA) – The Yemeni parliament Speaker, Yahya Al-Raai on Sunday sent  a message  to UN Secretary-General  António Guterres over coalition’s military escalation.

“Saudi-led coalition pursues an aggressive strategy aimed at destroying Yemen and annihilating its citizens.” he said.

“After the appointment of UN new envoy to Yemen, the coalition intensified its massacres against civilians targeting wedding halls, camps of displaced persons, civilians gatherings in markets and public roads and their homes and farms. ” Al-Raai added.

In the message, Al-Raai held the coalition responsible for killing President Saleh Al-Sammad on April 19.
