Meteorological Center sends warning messages to citizens about heavy rains

SANAA, April 15 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center sent on Wednesday the strong warning messages to citizens about torrential flows of heavy rains on various provinces over the coming 24 hours.

The center expected in its weather forecast that the weather and climate is prepared for heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, strong winds on the mountain range of the western highlands from the governorates of Taiz and Lahj to the northern province of Saada.

It pointed out that the rains would be extended the east to the internal highlands and desert of Hadramout and Mahra, as well as the western and southern coasts.

The center also warned citizens and drivers to take away off valleys and torrent channels as a result of rains.
