Saudi dirty money ignites conflict between coalition leaders in Jawf

JAWF, April 14 (YPA) –  The commander of the pro-coalition 6th Military Region, Amin al-Waili, directly accused field commander Amin al-Akimi of treason and handing over Jawf to the “Houthi”, local sources said.

A local source in the province confirmed to the Yemeni Press Agency that the conflict between Al-Waeli and Al-Akimi has intensified due to the latter’s military excesses aimed at dispersing the region’s militants.

According to the source, Al-Waeli threatened to resign if al-Akimi’s military interventions were not stopped, in the powers for al-Waeli’s work in the region’s command.

The source revealed that the escalation of dispute and conflict between Al-Waeli and Al-Akimi, due to the acquisition of the financial dependence of the 101st Infantry Brigade, which directed al-Waeli to move him to advanced positions, accusing Al-Akimi of failure, which led to the control of the army and popular committees on Jawf province, and their arrival on the outskirts of the city of Marib.

The source explained that the conflicts have spread and the divisions between the leaders of the “Reform Party” have intensified, between supporters of al- Waeli and opposition to the leader al-Akimi.

The source pointed out that the divisions reached to mutual threats, after some of them lost Saudi financial revenues to the fake militants in the region.
