Floods flow in capital Sanaa, civil defense launches warning

SANAA, April 13 (YPA) – The Civil Defense Authority of the Ministry of Interior on Monday evening issued a warning to citizens to exercise caution and to stay away from flood paths in the capital Sanaa, due to the heavy rains.

In an urgent appeal, this evening, the Authority called on citizens not to approach the places of the flow of torrents in the capital, especially in al-Sailah (the rainwater canal) in Sanaa city.

The National Meteorological Center had warned citizens and drivers on Monday, in areas expected to rain, of the need to stay away from the bottoms of valleys and streams of torrents during and after the rains.
