Army forces fight fierce battles against coalition forces in Lahj

LAHJ, April 12 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and the popular committees on Sunday afternoon fought fierce battles against Saudi-led coalition forces in al-Mosimeer front in Lahj province, southern Yemen, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources explained that the army forces and the popular committees were able to repel a large infiltration attempt, carried out by militants from al-Durayja and al-Sorori areas and forces of the so-called “10th Commandos Brigade” loyal to the coalition forces, towards Habeel Hanash area.

The clashes extended to al-Hasheem area in Ashjor village, after the flight of the coalition militants from Habeel Hanash area, the sources added.
