Coalition forces suffer heavy losses in Bayda, Marib

SANAA, April 12 (YPA) – The Yemeni army spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sarie on Sunday said that the army backed by the popular committees were able to repel three infiltration attempts by Saudi-led coalition forces in Bayda and Marib provinces.

Brig. Gen. Sarie explained, in a statement, that the three infiltration attempts continued from midnight on Saturday until Sunday morning, including two attacks in Qaniyah front in Bayda, and another in Serwah district in Marib.

The enemy forces suffered heavy losses in equipment, as well as dozens of dead and wounded, without making any progress, he added.

Meanwhile, the coalition air forces launched seven air strikes, which were distributed in separate areas in Marib and Jawf provinces.
