Southern politician reveals information about first confirmed case of Covid-19 in Hadhramaut

HADHRAMAUT, April 10 (YPA) – Yemeni Southern politician Salem Thabet al-Awlaki revealed important information about the first confirmed case of coronavirus reported in the city of Ash Shihr in Hadhramaut province, eastern Yemen.

Al-Awlaki said in a tweet on Friday account that the case is for a Hadhrami citizen who works in the port of Ash Shihr. He has been in contact with crews of various foreign nationalities in recent weeks.

The National High Commission for the Response to the Corona epidemic belonging to “Hadi government” announced Friday that the first confirmed case of the new Coronavirus (Covid-19) was reported in Yemen’s Hadhramaut province without giving details.
