Yemeni forces reples Saudi-led coalition attack in Bayda

BAYDA, April 8 (YPA) – On Tuesday, Yemeni army forces backed by popular committees managed to repel a large-scale attack carried out by Saudi-led mercenaries in Bayda province, central Yemen, a military official said.

According to the official, the attack took place in Nati’ district.

The attack lasted for more than 10 hours backed by Saudi-led coalition aircover, the official said, adding that the coalition launched by more than 15 air raids.

The official confirmed that the dozens of Saudi-led mercenaries were killed and wounded, while the rest were forces into retreat.

An armoured car and three military vehicles were destroyed during the attack, and their crew members were killed and wounded, including battalion commander, the official added.

The source confirmed that the army forces and popular committees are in high readiness to counter the escalation of aggression in all frontlines.
