UAE warplanes threat Islah militants in Abyan

ABYAN, April 7 (YPA) – UAE occupation warplanes kept on Tuesday flying over the sky of Yemen’s southern province of Abyan, threatening the Saudi-backed Islah party militants, military sources said.

The sources confirmed that the coalition warplanes flew over Islah camp in Shakra area.

The sources said that the UAE move came to back the Southern Transitional Council, which waged an attack against the Islah militants in Zanjibar district in an attempt to regain the Sheikh Salem strategic area.

According to military observers considered that the Islah party’s move towards Bayda front to deflect attention from its military arrangements in Shabwa and Abyan, for preparation to storm Aden city, in coordination with the Saudi occupation forces.
