Al-Mortada condemns coalition’s practices against prisoners, their families

SANAA, April 4 (YPA) – Head of the National Prisoners’ Affairs Committee Abdelqader al-Murtada on Saturday affirmed that Saudi-led aggression coalition has not allowed the prisoners held in its prisons to communicate with their families since the beginning of the war.

“Two days ago, the aggression coalition allowed the prisoners to contact their families not to reassured them, but to hit their psyche under false allegations that the national party (in Sanaa) refused to conduct the exchange deals,” al-Mortada added.

He continued “we condemned this cheap method used by the aggression coalition against the prisoners and their families.”

Al-Murtada categorically denied the coalition’s allegations, saying “the enemy, who did not release the 200 prisoners he announced their release months ago, is not credible.”

He called on the prisoners’ families not to pay attention to the rumors of the aggression coalition.

“We will force the aggression coalition to release our prisoners, and we have many cards to pressure it,” he said.
