Shooting incident against Amin Joma’an aims to destabilize security: Spokesman

SANAA, April 2 (YPA) – Ministry of Interior’s spokesman, Abdul-Khaleq al-Ajri, said that the shooting incident against the Secretary-General of the local council in the capital Sanaa, Amin Joma’an, was a failed attempt aimed to destabilize security.

Brigadier al-Ajri confirmed that the interior ministry would deal firmly against anyone trying to destabilize the security of the country and target citizens’ life.

This came during his visit to one of hospitals in the capital to check on Amin Joma’an’s health after he was injured in the shooting incident in Sanaa.
