STC send military reinforcement to Abyan

ABYAN, April 1 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias sent on Wednesday the great military reinforcement to Abyan province, south of Yemen, sources said.

The sources told “Yemeni Press Agency” that STC pushed the specific reinforcements from the so-called “third brigade support and support”, in addition to two battalions of the al-Amalaqah brigades, giants, to reinforce its militias in the Zanzibar city.

According to the sources, the STC move had been a part of military preparations to confront the Saudi-backed Islah Party’s militants, in Abayn’s coastal city of Shakra, which is a starting point of the party towards Aden city.

Meanwhile, the Islah militants have continued to send military reinforcements, from Seiyoun, Shabwa and Marib, to Shakra, in preparation for storming the city of Aden via the Abyan coast.
