Army foils infiltration attempt of Saudi-backed militias in Asir

ASIR, May 4 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Friday foiled an infiltration attempt of Saudi-backed militias in Asir province, a military official Yemen Press Agency.

The official confirmed that dozens of militias were killed and others were injured during their infiltration attempt towards Mandaba area.

Meanwhile, the artillery forces of the army bombed their gatherings in the same area, killing and wounding a number of them.

The Saudi-led coalition warplanes launched over 15 air strikes on Mandaba and surrounding areas to back its militias in their failed infiltration without making any progress.
