SANAA, March 28 (YPA) – Yemen Petroleum Company (YPA) employees organized a protest in front of the United Nations office in Sanaa after Friday’s prayer in the 51st friday, titled ” UN a Deadly Epidemic”.
During the protest, the official spokesman for the Company, Amin al-Shabbati, confirmed that the Saudi-led aggression and its mercenaries were still detaining 13 oil ships loaded with more than 320 thousand tons of petroleum products in light of the great need for these materials.
Al-Shabbati warned against stopping hospitals and vital institutions due to the continued detention of oil derivative ships to face the Corona epidemic.
He held the United Nations responsible for the humanitarian catastrophe due to its negligence and silence on the practices of the arbitrary aggression coalition and preventing it from entering oil ships despite being granted entry permits by the United Nations.
Al-Shabbati said that if the coronavirus affects human beings, then the aggression coalition viruses by seizing oil ships affect humans and stone, supported by the silence of the United Nations and abandoning its humanitarian and human rights obligations towards the Yemeni people.
A statement was issued by protesters confirming their continuation of the open sit-in, and the protests in front of the United Nations office until all their legitimate and legitimate demands are met.
The statement condemned the international silence and the United Nations tolerating the detention of oil ships by the aggression coalition, which makes them its partner in the aggression and the siege.
It considered the silence of the United Nations and its tolerance of brute aggression in itself and an instrument of aggression.
