Commander loyal to Islah party injured in Abyan
ABYAN, March 24 (YPA) – A military commander loyal to Islah party’s militias was injured on Tuesday in ambushes carried out by southern transitional militiamen in Abyan province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.
The southern militiamen carried out an armed ambush for the commander, Mahran al-Qubati in Dhiqa area of al-Mahfad district, wounding him and killing two of his bodyguards.
The southern militants launched another attack on the commander’s convoy in Haban area before their arriving to Ataq city in Shabwa province.
