Kerman calls on Yemeni people to bring down guardianship and occupation

A Yemeni journalist and activist, Tawakul Kerman described the UAE’s landing of its military power on the island of Socotra and the expulsion of the marine battalion that was protecting and securing the airport as an occupation of the island of Socotra officially.

Kerman accused the exile president Hadi and his prime minister of being the ones who legitimized UAE occupation.
The activist called on the Yemeni people to line up for overthrowing the guardianship and occupation of the Saudi and United Arab Emirates.

On Wednesday, the United Arab Emirates has sent more military reinforcements to Socotra, with a ship carrying a number of tanks, armored vehicles and heavy weapons, in conjunction with the arrival of three warplanes to the airport Socotra.
