Thunderstorms expected for coming 24 hours various provinces

SANAA, March 23 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) expected on Monday rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms on various provinces for the coming 24 hours.

The center said that the rain would be light to medium on the mountainous highlands and interior plateaus in on separate parts of the mountainous governorates from Taiz to Saada Governorate, as well as the north of the Socotra Archipelago.

The NCM pointed out that the rain might extend towards southern parts of the provinces of Bayda, Lahj, Dhalea, Abyan, Marib, Shabwa, Hadramout and Mahra, in addition to the western coasts of the governorates of Hajjah, Hodeidah, Taiz and Lahj.

The center warned the citizens and drivers to keep away from valleys and streams due to landslide as a result of the heavy rains.
