TAIZ, March 20 (YPA) – A military commander loyal to Saudi-led coalition survived an assassination attempt by unknown gunfire in Taiz province, southwestern Yemen, local sources said on Friday.
According to the sources, the commander of the military police in Saudi-led coalition backed government Brigadier General Mohammed Salem Al-Khoulani had escaped the assassination attempt in the Osayfra area, north of Taiz city.
The source confirmed that gunmen riding a motorbike fired towards the commander near the Al-Saeed Mosque neighborhood in Osayfra, leaving one of his bodyguards wounded.
