Islah Party pushes huge military reinforcements to confront STC in Abyan

ABYAN , March 20 (YPA) – Huge military reinforcements of Islah Party (Muslim Brotherhood) arrived Thursday in Abyan province, southern Yemen.

A local source in the province confirmed that Islah party had sent Saudi military cars and armored vehicles from Modiyah district to the mountainous Arqoub area, northeast of the coastal city of Shoqra.

This move come within the sharp military tensions between the Islah militants and the UAE-backed Southern Transition Council’s militias in Abyan and Shabwa provinces, after the collapse of the Riyadh agreement signed between them on November 5, 2019.
