UK announces withdrawal of part of its forces in Iraq

LONDON, March 19 (YPA) – British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace announced Thursday that his country is withdrawing part of its forces operating as part of a training mission in Iraq, against the backdrop of the spread of the new Corona virus.

Wallace explained that “the forces concerned are being withdrawn because of the retreat in the frequency of training in recent months, and because of the suspension of the international coalition program for sixty days as a precautionary measure after the outbreak of the epidemic,” according to “France Press” Agency.
