Yemeni army foils militias’ infiltration in Jawf

JAWF, May 3 (YPA)- The  Yemeni army on Thursday foiled an infiltration attempt of Saudi-backed militias in Jawf province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The Saudi-backed militias tried to advance towards the positions of the Yemeni army in Beer al-Salamy area in Ajasher desert but were repulsed and dozens of them were killed and injured.

The army destroyed a military kit belonging to the militias, killing all its crew members in the attack, the official added.
