SANAA, March 18 (YPA) – Ministry of Public Health and Population in the Salvation Government on Tuesday evening refuted what was reported by media websites about recording three suspected cases of Corona virus disease (COVID-19) in the capital Sanaa.
The ministry explained, in a statement, that it had received a reporting of suspected cases of a Yemeni citizen in the Saudi-German Hospital in the capital and two other Egyptian nationals, who were deported from Saudi Arabia, and that the laboratory tests confirmed that they are all free of the Corona virus.
In its statement, the Ministry of Health confirmed that Yemen has not registered any infected case with COVID-19 so far.
“We assure the citizens and residents in the Republic of Yemen that no laboratory confirmed cases of coronavirus have been registered so far,” the ministry said.
The Ministry of Health affirmed that the announced measures by the government are precautionary.
